Viola A. Heinricy

Viola A. Heinricy, 99, of 2955 Kaufmann Ave., died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Entombment will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum, Mount Calvary Cemetery. The Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Nov. 15, 1910, daughter of Frank and Catherine (Hoffmann) Herbst. She married Julius Heinricy on Nov. 29, 1933; he preceded her in death.

Viola was a member of Sacred Heart parish, the Sacred Heart Adult Choir, the Rosary Society, the Senior Citizen Society and the Senior Citizen Card Club.

Surviving are nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Lucille Haxmeier; and brothers, Armin and Elmer Herbst.

Memorials may be given to Sacred Heart parish, Heartland Hospice and Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center.
