EPWORTH, Iowa - Donald F. Bradley, 73, of 703 West Main St., Epworth, died at 11:24 a.m. Monday, April 28, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Epworth, with the Rev. Raymond Burkle officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Epworth, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m.

Mr. Bradley hauled cream for the Epworth Creamery. He later owned and operated the former Kountry Inn in Epworth for 23 years.

He was born on Sept. 8, 1929, in John's Creek, rural Farley, son of Truman and Rose Mary (Kroeger) Bradley. He married Delores I. Knapp on Oct. 14, 1948, at St. Patrick's Rectory, Epworth.

He received his education in the Epworth schools. He was a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Epworth, and was a volunteer for 18 years for the Epworth Volunteer Fire Department.

Surviving are his wife, Delores Bradley, of Epworth; six children, Stan (Vicki) Bradley, of Denver, Colo., Kay (Gene) Newton, of Epworth, Cindy (Rob) Landingham, of Sacramento, Calif., Marty (Pam) Bradley, of Cascade, and Renee (Mike) McDermott and Mike (Jackie) Bradley, both of Farley; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel (Louis) McDermott, of Dyersville; and two brothers, Kenneth (Mary Ann) Bradley, of Epworth, and Dale (Madonna) Bradley, of Dubuque; and two brothers-in-law, Wells (Shirley) Knapp, of Denver, and Carlyn (Sondra) Knapp, of Marion.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Donald F. Bradley Memorial Fund has been established.
