Anne Noe, 99, of Lake Wales, Fla., formerly of Dubuque, and Bellevue, Iowa, died Thursday, April 24, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church, Bergen, Minn. Burial will be in Minnesota. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Anderson-Schmidt Funeral Home, Windom, Minn.

She was a member of Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron. She also was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Prescott School PTA.

Anne was an avid reader, loved to sew and thoroughly enjoyed politics. She and her husband, Ralph Noe, retired to Florida in 1970, and spent their summers in Bellevue.

Surviving are two daughters, Ihlene (Louie) Stockel and RuthAnne Lord; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Emmett Elness, in 1931; a son, Loren Elness, who died in the Korean War in 1952; her second husband, Ralph Noe, in 1982; a sister; and four brothers.
