Mary "Lorraine" Leyden, 86, of Stonehill Care Center, died Friday, April 25, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael's Cathedral. Friends may call from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where arrangements are pending.

Lorraine Leyden, 86, of Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque, formerly of Independence, Iowa, died Friday, April 25, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Raphael's Cathedral. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Independence. Friends may call from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Monday at Siegert-Didesch Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave.

She worked as a legal secretary in Independence. She then worked at American Trust and Savings Bank in Dubuque for 20 years.

She was born on March 17, 1917, in Masonville, Iowa, daughter of Mark and Elizabeth Leyden. She graduated from high school in Independence.

She was a member of St. Raphael's Cathedral.

Surviving are five cousins: John and Michael Smith, both of Ames, Iowa, Charles (Joanne) Leyden, of Decatur, Ill., Phillip (Cheryl) Leyden, of Harvard, Ill., and Richard Leyden, of Sharon, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Agnes Leyden.

Memorials may be given to Stonehill Care Center.
