Mrs. James (Dorothy M. "Dot") Kinsella, 60, of 8507 Military Road, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2003, at home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, both in Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where there will be a wake service at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Kinsella worked for Dunn & Bradstreet for many years, and lastly at CIGNA Retirement and Investment Services.

She was born on May 3, 1942, in Dubuque, daughter of Elmer and Mary (Driscoll) Jochum. She graduated from Wahlert High School in 1960.

She married James Kinsella on June 29, 1963, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Dubuque.

She had a great love for her family and nature. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother and a special friend of many.

Surviving are her husband, Jim; two sons, Ron (Roxanne) Kinsella and Scott Kinsella, and two daughters, Lynn (John) Koppes and Tami (Scott) Estal, all of Dubuque; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Nick, Katie, Danielle, T.J., Allison, Taylar, Jessica, Ryan and Olivia; her mother, Mary Jochum, of Dubuque; and her father-in-law, Ray Kinsella, of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by her father.
