Doris R. Bredlow, 91, of ManorCare Health Services, formerly of 2600 Anamosa Drive, 1770 Chaney Road, and La Crosse, Wis., died Wednesday, April 23, 2003, at ManorCare.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, where friends may call after 1:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque.

Mrs. Bredlow worked in the business office at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque, for 19 years.

She was born on Sept. 22, 1911, in Osceola, Wis., daughter of Ernest and Lillian (Pederson) Church.

She married Corwin "Corky" Bredlow in La Crosse, on Sept. 18, 1936. They resided in La Crosse, until moving to Dubuque in 1954. Mr. Bredlow died on Sept. 16, 1993, two days before their 57th wedding anniversary.

Doris was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, a former member of the American Business Women's Association for 26 years and a charter member of the Chateau Chapter.

Surviving are three daughters, Judy (Dr. Tom) Edmonds and Joy (Jimmy) Gloden Meyer, both of Dubuque, and Jill Sandven, of Sheboygan, Wis.; nine grandchildren, Debbie and Jennifer Sandven and Melissa (Todd) Kuehl, all of Sheboygan, Rebecca Edmonds, of Springfield, Vt., Rachel (fiancé Brian Meloy) Edmonds, of Minneapolis, Tim (Jackie) Gloden and Tricia (Steve) Schaller, both of Dubuque, Tammy Gloden, of Jupiter, Fla., and Tracy (Kevin) Callahan, of Lake Park, Fla.; 12 great-grandchildren; and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and a sister.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to ManorCare Health Services, The Finley Hospital and Westminster Presbyterian Church.

The family wishes to thank all the wonderful caregivers at ManorCare and extend special thanks to Dr. Mark Liaboe and Doris' very special friend, Helen Chapman, for all her love and concern.
