Robert F. Williams, 63, of Freeport, Ill., formerly of Dubuque, died Thursday, March 27, 2003, at the Monroe (Wis.) Clinic Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Walker Mortuary, Freeport, with the Rev. John Hollis officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, Freeport. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

Mr. Williams managed Ace Muffler in Freeport for more than 20 years and has owned it for the last 13 years.

He was born on April 3, 1939, in Dubuque, son of Karl and Bernice (Miller) Williams.

He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles in Freeport.

Surviving are four sons, William F. Williams, Andrew J. Williams and Daniel L. Williams, all of Freeport, and Robert M. (Cindy) Williams, of Houston; 14 grandchildren; and a brother, Donald G. (Kathy) Miller, of Freeport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Karl.

A Robert F. Williams Memorial Fund has been established.
