Mrs. Frederick (Judith Ann) Cady, 62, of 10717 Highway 52 South, Dubuque, died at 6:37 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2003, at home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bible Baptist Church, 940 Walker St. Burial will be in Rockdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, Ill., and after 9 a.m. Friday at the church.

She was born on June 19, 1940, in Dubuque, daughter of George and Iva (Cook) Abresch. She married Frederick J. Cady on March 10, 1961, in Galena, Ill.

She was a homemaker and her hobbies included gardening, flowers and fishing.

Surviving are her husband, Frederick J. Cady; children, Joseph (Donna) Cady, of Pineville, La., Dean (Lori) Cady, Marlene Cady and Angela Cady, all of Dubuque, Pam (Wayne) Wolf and Matthew (Amy) Cady, both of Lexington, Ky., Iva (James) Theisen, of Dyersville, Iowa, and Heather Cady, of Cuba City, Wis.; 15 grandchildren, Felicia, Terra, Dustin, Krystin, Ryan, Joshua, Leah, Daniel, Elizabeth, Nathan, Hannah, Joy, Olivia, Rachel and Adam; five brothers, LeRoy (Edna) Abresch, of St. Catherine, Iowa, James (Rose) Abresch, Dave (Kay) Abresch and Dan (Pat) Abresch, all of Dubuque, and Tom (Ruth) Abresch, of Juneau, Wis.; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Penny) Cady, Marlene (John) Baumgartner, Edward Bartella and Gloria (friend, Koko) Jacobs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sons, George H. and Frederick J. Cady, in infancy; and two sisters, Clara Klein and Marian Abresch.

A Judith Ann Cady Memorial Fund has been established.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of Dubuque, Dr. Krish and the fifth floor nursing staff at The Finley Hospital.
