Paul J. Feller, 55, of 2130 Sunnyview Drive, was called to his home with the Lord at 11:58 p.m. Monday, March 17, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. today at the University of Dubuque Alumni Hall on the University of Dubuque Campus. There will be no visitation. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Feller worked for the Dubuque Police Department for 28 years, retiring on Oct. 15, 1996, with the rank of Captain.

He was born on May 11, 1947, in Dubuque, son of John L. and Marian E. (Jungck) Feller. He married Patricia Butcher.

He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School and attended Loras College. He was an Army veteran.

He was a loving husband, brother, grandfather and a devoted son.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia, of Dubuque; a son, Paul (Tammy) Feller, of Dubuque; a daughter, Shelle (Craig) Mills, of Dubuque; six grandchildren, Nick, Brandin, Sydney, Connor, Kyle and Sawyer; three brothers, John (Donna) Feller and Richard (Sharon) Feller, both of Dubuque, and Dan (Laura) Feller, of Clinton, Iowa; and four sisters, Marilyn (Don) Wasmundt and Linda (Randy) Prater, both of Loveland, Colo., Karen (Jim) Wieland, of Rock Island, Ill., and Sue Feller, of Telluride, Colo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Paul J. Feller Memorial Fund has been established.
