Banker James Harragan Dies at Dubuque
Dubuque, Ia., Jan 6 - James Harragan, a pioneer of Dubuque for the past 53 years, and cashier of the National bank here, and one of its organizers, died last night, aged 68, of typhoid fever. He was born in Ireland, and had been a resident of Dubuque since 1856. He was county treasurer for a number of years and was one of the organizers of the Dubuque Building and Loan association.
