Mrs. Irene M. Glider, 92, of Stonehill Care Center, 3485 Windsor Ave., formerly of 10602 Breiner Drive, and 801 Davis St., died at 7:15 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road.

She was born on Aug. 18, 1910, in Washington, Iowa, daughter of Frank and Katie (Byerski) Shelangoski.

She married Ray W. Glider on June 5, 1933, in Washington; he passed away on Sept. 2, 1999. She and her husband were residents of Dubuque for more than 50 years.

She was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church.

Surviving are a sister, Mary Hopkins, of Muscatine, Iowa; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers, Adam and Andrew Shelangoski; and two sisters, Martha Johnston and Bertha Kupka.

Memorials may be given to Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Dubuque.
