NEW VIENNA, Iowa - Mrs. Regina Fangmann, 99, of New Vienna, died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dyersville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, with the Rev. John O'Connor officiating and the Rev. Frederick Fangmann, nephew of Regina, will concelebrate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be the parish scripture service at 5 p.m., and a rosary recited at 7:30 p.m.

She was born on Aug. 17, 1903, in New Vienna, daughter of Albert and Catherine (Erdmann) Pasker. She married Frank Fangmann on May 3, 1937, at St. Boniface Catholic Church; he preceded her in death in 1963.

She was a homemaker her entire life and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. Regina was a member of St. Boniface Parish.

Surviving are two daughters, Agnes (Alan) Scannell, of Asbury, and Betty (Ed) Behnke, of Dubuque; a son, Joe (Darlene) Fangmann, of New Vienna; 12 grandchildren, Theresa, Tom and Mark Scannell, Ann Reed, Rose Moeller and Bill, Bob, Jim, John, Paul, Mary and Judy Fangmann; and four great-grandchildren, Kristina Reed, Ries Scannell and Stacey and Tyler Moeller.

She also was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy; two great-grandchildren, Peter and Jacob Fangmann; four sisters, Elizabeth, Mary, Anna and Josephine; and three brothers, Joseph, Bernard and Albert.
