Services for Anthony J. "Tony" Frommelt, 79, of 3980 Central Ave., will be at 10 am. Saturday, at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery. Friends may call from 11 am to 9 pm Friday at the Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where the parish wake service will be said at 7 pm. Mr. Frommelt was a retired farmer. He was born on October 17, 1910 in Dubuque, son of Andrew and Pauline (Hemmi) Frommelt. He died at 6:50 pm. Tuesday, January 16, 1990, at Ennoble Manor Care Center. He married Virginia Rupp on August 7, 1939, at Holy Ghost Church. He was a member of the Holy Ghost Name Society. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dnis (Susan) Roling of Dubuque and Mary Beth Frommelt at home; four sons, Anthony Frommelt of Ripton, Wis., George, David and Thomas Frommelt, all of Dubuque; 15 grandchildren and sever great-grandchildren; three brothers; Clarence Frommelt of Dubuque and Seminole, Fla., Andrew Frommelt of St. Catherine, Iowa, and William Frommelt of Dubuque. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Frommelt on April 5, 1953.
