Duane H. Nagele, 54, of Blue Grass, Iowa, formerly of Dubuque, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, at Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport, Iowa.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in National Cemetery, Rock Island, Ill. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport, where there will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Nagele worked at both John Deere Dubuque Works and Davenport Works for 28 years in the shipping and receiving department.

He was born on Oct. 21, 1948, in Dubuque, son of Herbert and Louise Nagele. He graduated from Dubuque Senior High School.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. His hobbies were camping, fishing, traveling and hunting.

Among survivors is his fiancee, Susan Glasser, of Dubuque.
