CHRISTOPHER P. "Chris" ANDERSON, Jr.

Christopher P. "Chris" Anderson, Jr., 22, of Fayetteville, Ark., formerly of Dubuque, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, in Fayetteville, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Columbkille's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church, where there will be a parish scripture wake service at 8 p.m. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, Dubuque, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Jan. 17, 1981, in Dubuque, son of Christopher Anderson and Karen Ann (Lewis) Kimbro.

He was born and raised in Dubuque. He graduated from Wahlert High School in 1999. He lived in Fayetteville for the past six months, where he worked in construction and attended the University of Arkansas.

He was involved in the C.E.W. (Christian Experience Weekend); volunteered at the Dubuque Rescue Mission; and was a supporter of the Dubuque County Right To Life. He enjoyed fishing and sports.

Chris was a great person who was tough, strong and passionate on the outside and possessed a heart of gold on the inside. Always quick with a hug, he never shied away from saying I love you.

Surviving are his father, Chris (LuAnne) Anderson, of Bellevue, Iowa; his mother, Karen (Kenneth) Kimbro, of Fayetteville; four brothers, Gabe Kimbro, of Davenport, Iowa, Kris Kimbro, of Fayetteville, and Derrick Klauer and Joseph Anderson, both of Bellevue; five sisters, Sarah Anderson, of Milwaukee, Wis., Melissa Kimbro and Jennifer Anderson, both of Fayetteville, and Samantha and Madison Anderson, both of Bellevue; paternal grandparents, Bob and Mary Jo Anderson, of Dubuque; paternal grandmother, Rachael Kimbro, of Moline, Ill.; maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Lewis and Steve and Sally Stillmunkes, all of Dubuque; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Marie Klauer; and an aunt, Teri Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Dubuque County Right To Life, the Dubuque Rescue Mission and The Maria House.
