Dubuquer dies in Washington.
Lingering Illness takes Ralph H. Hemmi.
Word has been received here of the death Saturday in Bellingham, WA of Ralph Hemmi, 46, former Dubuquer and son of Mrs. Theresa Hemmi of this city. Hemmi died in a Bellingham Hospital after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Friday in Bellingham with the Rev. Paul Woodward officiating. Burial was in Greenacres Memorial Park. Mr. Hemmi had lived in Bellingham for the past two and one half years and was employed as an elctrician by the Hindman Home Electrical company there. Surviving are his mother and a brother, Clarence, of Dubuque; his wife, Mrs. Irene Hemmi, and a small son, Richard of Bellingham; two brothers, Peter of St Louis , MO, and Arnold of Kenosha, Wis; and several nieces and nephews. Another son, Ralph Jr. preceded him in death.

Submitter Notes: Ralph Hemmi was the son of Peter Hemmi and Theresa Fritsche. He was married to Margaret Bernice Riley and they had one son, Ralph Hemmi Jr. who died in 1924. His wife, Irene Hemmi (Irene remarried Frank Binschus) and son, Richard survive him.
