NICHOLAS SHAFFER-

Nicholas Shaffer, a prominent and respected citizen of Cascade and at one time mayor of that place, died at his home last Friday morning. It will be remembered that about two months ago his residence was burned down and at which time he received some severe burns, while attempting to save his property. He never fully recovered from the shock.
