Diane M. Nicks 1943-2002

Diane M. Nicks, 58, of Sunnycrest Manor, died at 3:15 p.m. Monday May 27, 2002, at Sunnycrest.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Thursday at the chapel. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on June 24, 943, in Dubuque, daughter of Kenneth H. and Mary T. (Pottebaum) Nicks.

Diane earned her GED and was employed at Area Residential Care on Kerper Boulevard. She was a member of Holy Ghost Parish. She enjoyed reading an working on the computer. She often spent time at the Northeast Iowa Community College learning center.

Surviving are her mother, Mary T. Nicks, of Dubuque, a sister, Jean A. (Tommy L.) Boots, of Dubuque; a niece, Angela G. Boots, of Iola, Wis.; aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth H. Nicks, on Dec. 31, 1990.

Memorials may be given to Sunnycrest Manor, 2375 Roosevelt, Dubuque, Iowa 52001.

The family thanks the nurses and staff of Sunnycrest Manor and Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque for their care and concern for Diane.
