TERRENCE M. WETTER

Terrence Michael “Terry” Wetter, 48, of 15621 N. 19th St., Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Dubuque, died of cancer Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, in Phoenix.

Memorial services will be at a later date in Phoenix. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., Dubuque, is in charge of local arrangements. Terry’s wishes were to have his ashes returned to his beloved Lookout Mountain on which he hiked every day with his wife and “his babies,” Tashi and Tytus.

Mr. Wetter worked at Heideman & Associates, Inc., as a mechanical engineer.

He was born on Aug. 16, 1954, in Dubuque, son of Fred and Camilla (Albert) Wetter. He married Ronda Finck on April 12, 1986, in Phoenix.

He attended Dubuque Senior High School. After graduation, he entered the Air Force and was stationed in the Phoenix area.

Surviving are his wife, Ronda (Finck) Wetter, of Phoenix; three sisters, Judith P. Juergens, of Shoreview, Minn., Virginia K. (Chuck) Russell, of Dubuque, and Donita L. (Larry) Johnson, of East Dubuque, Ill.; two brothers, Fred E. Wetter, of Pacifica, Calif., and David J. Wetter, of Hazel Green, Wis.; and his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Marjorie Finck, of Phoenix.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred L. Wetter, in 1985; his mother, Camilla C. Wetter, in 1997; and a sister, Barbara J. Furry, in 1981.
