John Blichmann, Jr. Telegraph Herald article dated Oct 24, 1957 states:

John Blichmann, Jr. age 65 of 2105 ½ University Ave died Thursday after a long illness. Strueber Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He was a member of Summit Congregational Church and the American Legion. He was born 5-27-1892 in Dubuque son of John A. Sr.and Louise Glab Blichmann. He was a WW I veteran and retired employee of the Telegraph Herald circulation dept. Surviving is his wife, Lulu Bleckett Blichmann and a sister Mrs. Ben Triller, Dubuque.
