Dawn L. Schumacher, 53, of 625 Garfield Ave., died Friday, March 14, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 17, at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., and after 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the church.

She was born Aug. 7, 1954, in Dubuque, daughter of Melvin and Elsie (Ruer) Randall. She married Scott Schumacher on July 5, 1981, at United Church of Christ.

She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1973.

She was employed at the Target Store for the past 20 years as part of the flow team.

Dawn enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

Surviving are her husband, Scott, of Dubuque; her mother, Elsie, of Dubuque; three sisters, Donna Miller and Belva Bullard, both of Dubuque, and Karan Turnmeyer, of Rockford, Ill.; her mother-in-law, Kathleen Schumacher, of Dubuque; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father; Melvin Randall; and a brother; Bruce Randall.

The Schumacher family wishes to thank the staff at Mercy Medical Center for their wonderful care and support.
