Lisa Marie Adams, 28, of 1605 Marjorie Circle, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 17, at Resurrection Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 16, at Hoffmann Schneider and Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, where there will be a wake service at 6:30 p.m.

She was born April 4, 1979, in Denton, Texas, daughter of Robert and Susan (Budnick) Adams.

She attended Franklin Elementary School, the former Helen Keller School, Jefferson Junior High School and Hempstead High School.

She was a member of Resurrection Parish.

Lisa loved music, her Big Bird, Winnie the Pooh and a host of others. Her family will cherish the memory of her hugs and kisses.

Surviving are her parents, Robert and Susan Adams, of Dubuque; her brother, Christopher Adams, and his close friend, Lisa Kanning, of Madison, Wis.; her maternal grandfather, Damien Budnick, of Alpena, Mich.; an aunt; several uncles; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Wally Adams; and her maternal grandmother, Marie Budnick.

Lisa's family would like to thank Dr. John Whalen, and his nurses Sue and Kristi, and the many doctors and nurses who have provided Lisa loving care over the years.
