Mrs. Hugh Marita (Rita) Clark

Mrs. Hugh Marita "Rita" Clark, formerly of Sunset Park and Carter Road, left this life Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Luther Manor.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2008, at Church of the Resurrection. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 7, at the church.

She was born on Oct. 24, 1913, in Dubuque, daughter of Anthony and Rosetta (Ruh) Nagle.

Rita was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving are a son, Jim (Penny) Clark, of Dubuque; and a daughter, Cheri (Al) Draeger, of Santa Clara, Calif.; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; nieces; and a special friend, John Bissel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh; a daughter, Karen Shockley; and five sisters.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Luther Manor, the wonderful nurses of Hospice of Dubuque and the staff at Sunset Park.
