Thomas W. Phillips

Thomas W. Phillips, 53, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of Dubuque, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at home of natural causes.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

He was born on June 11, 1954, in Dubuque, son of Hugh and Betty Phillips.

Flipper has lived in the Orlando area working for Disney for the last 20 years.

Surviving are his son, Cory (Kate) Phillips; grandsons, Julian and Finn; siblings, Jean (Ronald) Pearson, Kathleen (Wayne) Hancock, Ann (Charles) Horstmann, Lynn (Donald) Heltibridle and Harry Phillips; and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Betty; and his brother, Hugh Jr.
