Timothy J. Miller

The family of Timothy J. Miller, 57, of Minnesota, sadly announces his passing on Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, after a long illness.

Formerly of Dubuque, Tim was an avid collector and was very active until his death. He was employed for more than 30 years with the Hennepin County Social Services.

Tim leaves behind his beloved mother, Beth A. (Scholtes) Miller, of Dubuque; a sister, Jolene (Kevin) Miller-O'Toole, of Madison, Wis.; and nephew, Shamus S. O'Toole (Carolyn Nivling), of Chicago; Also surviving are several cousins.

The family would like to thank Tim's aunt Mary Margaret (Miller) Shurb; uncle James J. Miller; uncle Charles L. (Jean) Miller; aunt Margaret (William) Walser; and aunt Nancy (Verdus) Petsche for their kindness and caring deeds in Tim's time of need.

The outreach of Tim's friend and fellow collector, Bill (Paula) Poppe, and of the many other friends who extended their arms in comfort served as a calming transition for Tim and his family.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Miller, on October 25, 1987.

Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Rd. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
