MICHAEL ADAM, FORMER GROCER, OBEYS SUMMONS
Michael Adam died at the family home, 2021 Kniest street, early Thursday morning. Death came at 4:30 o'clock and marked the end of a long illness.
Mr. Adam was born in Germany in 1862. He was engaged in the grocery business in Dubuque for about 40 years but of late had lived retired. He leaves his widow Elizabeth, five children, Paulina, Mrs. Lawrence(Mary)Gneier, William and Leo, all of Dubuque, and Joseph of Aurora, Ill.
The deceased was a member of the Marquette court, C. O. F., the Aloysius society and Sacred Heart church.
The funeral will be held from the home Saturday morning to Sacred Heart church at 9 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary.
