WILLIAM L. LIGHTFOOT
Services for William L. Lightfoot, 62, of 1385 Jackson St. will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at DeWachter-Haudenshield Funeral home, 2170 Central Ave.

Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by Dubuque Post 6 of the American Legion. Friends may call from 3 - 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lightfoot, who was born in Dubuque, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday at University Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa. He worked at Bradley Iron Works before he retired and was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the American Legion, Dubuque Post 6. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

His wife, the former Mildred Laufenberg, died Feb. 23, 1973.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. James (Patricia) Ryan of Wausau, Wis., Mrs. Gary (Carol) Scheffert, Mrs. David (Pearl) Duve, Michelle Livermore and Mrs. Glen (Myrna) Howell, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Terry (Barbara) Kelly of Anamosa, Iowa; two sons, Dale and Michael, both of Dubuque; 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Jennie Beversdorf, Mrs. Leonard (Viola) Dress and Mrs. Bernice Armbruster, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Viola Calvin of Fredericksburg, Iowa, and two brothers, Floyd of Greeley, Colo., and Andrew of Aurora, Iowa.

A William L. Lightfoot Memorial Fund has been established.
