Lynn R. Birch, 36, of Fennimore, Wis., formerly of 1292 Thomas Place, Dubuque, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St.

Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the parish wake service will be said at 4 p.m.

Mr. Birch worked at Steamatic Cleaners, Dubuque, and prior to that at Fennimore Cheese and Rossing Construction, both in Fennimore.

He was born on June 18, 1953, in Dubuque, son of Leo and Imelda (Scharff) Birch. He died of natural causes at 7:36 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 1990, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

Surviving are his former wife, Letha Schmitt; three sons, Lynn, Jr., Jamie and Scotty, all of Dubuque; his parents, Leo and Imelda Birch of Dubuque; three sisters, Mary Birch and Mrs. Kenneth (Lori) Wilson, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. David (Lona) Cavazos of Cleburne, Texas; seven brothers, William, Steven, Dan, Kenny, Leo, Jr., Louie, and Kevin, all of Dubuque; and a longtime friend, Deanne Chappel of Dubuque.

A Lynn R. Birch Memorial Fund has been established.
