Arnold E. Block

Arnold E. Block, 63, of St. Paul, Minn., formerly of Dubuque, died Monday, March 16, 1992, in St. Paul.

Services were March 20 at the Adam-Bradshaw-Hauge Funeral Home, St. Paul. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul.

Mr. Block worked at Montgomery Wards in St. Paul until his retirement.

He was born on Dec. 26, 1928, in Dubuque, son of Arnold and Mildred (Birch) Block. He married Betty Cable; she survives.

Also surviving are a son, James of St. Paul; four brothers, Charles A. Sr., Don (and Mary) and Richard (and Mary), all of Dubuque, and Bob (and Darlene) of LaMotte, Iowa; and four sisters, Helen (and Olin) Beschen, Edith (and Kenneth) Dieters and Thelma (and Gerald) Thuston, all of Dubuque, and Viola (and Lawrence) Berg of Crookston, Minn.
