Mrs. Evelyn D. Peck, 67, of Lake Wales, Fla., and formerly of Dubuque, died at 10:15 a.m. Friday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Art (Lucille) Ruer of 1405 Mount Pleasant St., Dubuque.

Her husband Bonnie "Bud" died in March 1979.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Lane-Holt Funeral Home in Haines City, Fla., with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ed Siegert Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., and from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Lane-Holt Funeral Home.

Evelyn Hooks was born in Dubuque.

Survinging besides her sister are three brothers, Delbert Hooks and John Specht, both of Dubuque, and Clem Specht of Monmouth, Iowa.

Memorials maybe given to the Cancer Society.
