Mary Lou Heiberger

Mary Lou Heiberger, 64, of Sunnycrest Manor, formerly of the Ellis Apartments, died at 12:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2006, at Sunnycrest Manor. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1425 Iowa St., where friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Feb. 21, 1942, in Centralia, Dubuque County, daughter of Eugene H. and Lucille (Kass) Heiberger.

She was a graduate of Wahlert High School. Mary Lou was a former member of Holy Ghost Parish and was currently a member of St. Patrick's Parish. She was formerly employed at Aladdin Dry Cleaners. She was later employed at Sunnycrest Manor for 19 years. In her spare time, Mary Lou enjoyed reading or watching movies.

Surviving are a brother, Gene J. (Judy) Heiberger, of Dubuque; three nieces, Jenny (Jim) Payne and Donna (Steve) Berlage, both of Dubuque, and Nancy (Jeff) Oberbroeckling, of Luxemberg, Iowa; and eight great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
