Richard Sahm, 82, of Durango, died at 5 p.m. Friday at Finley hospital after a short illness.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Haudenshield funeral home, 2170 Central avenue. Burial will be in the Centralia Presbyterian cemetery.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1869, in Dubuque. He lived on a farm in Dubuque county all his life. He was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are seven nieces, Mrs. Marion Anderson, of Cedar Falls, Ia., Mrs. Mae Stitz, of Waterloo, Ia., Miss Viola Burger, of Engelwood, Calif., Miss Mary Sahm, of Graf, Miss Nellie Sahm, of Bankston, Mrs. Mabel Lowder, of Marshfield, Mo., Mrs. Anna Wilson, of San Bernardino, Calif.; and seven nephews, Roger and John Burger, of Lemont, Ill., Louis Sahm, of Graf, John Sahm, of Durango, Frank and Charles Tournier, of Marshfield, Mo., and Joe Tournier, of San Bernardino.
