MRS. MILDRED SAHM

Mrs. Joseph (Mildred) Sahm, Balltown, 32, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday morning in Mercy hospital.

Friends may call after 7 o'clock Wednesday evening at the farm home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Gassman, Balltown.

The funeral will be held from the family residence to St. Francis church, Balltown, at 2:30 Friday afternoon, but because of Holy Week the funeral mass will be said after Easter.

Interment will be in St. Francis cemetery, Balltown.

Mrs. Sahm was born Sept. 19, 1914, in Dubuque, daughter of Jacob and Elsie Gassman of Balltown. She was married Feb. 15, 1938, in Balltown, to Joseph Sahm.

After her marriage she lived at Turkey River, Ia., until last January, then returning to Balltown. She was a member of St. Francis church and the Rosary society.

Survivors include her husband, of Balltown; one daughter, Joanne; three sons, Jackie, Jerry and Eugene, also all at home; two sisters, Mrs. Leon (Marie) Brimeyer, Worthington, and Miss Ruth Gassman, Balltown; two brothers, Jacob Gassman, USN, Mare Island, Calif., and Marvin Gassman, Balltown.

The Strueber funeral home will have charge of arrangements.
