Mrs. Catherine Botzet, 59, died Tuesday afternoon following a lingering illness at her home, 1925 Washington Street.
The body is at the Engelhof Home for Funerals, frome where the funeral will be held to St. Mary's Church Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Botzet was born at Sherrills Jan 14, 1880, and came to Dubuque when she was 14 years old. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, the Hyde Clark Woman's Relief Corps, No. 37, and the Evergreen Grove, No. 20, Woodman Circle.
Surviving with her mother, Mrs. Theresa Butlett, Peosta, are four brothers, George Butlett, Massey, Lawrence Butlett, Durango, Anton Butlett, Aurora, Ill., and John Butlett, Dubuque; three sisters, Mrs. Theresa Tigges and Mrs. Joseph (Anna) Fleckenstein, both of Dubuque, and Mrs. Paul (Regina) Nicks, Peosta, and several nieces and nephews.
Predecing her in death with her husband, Peter, was her son George.
