JOHN DUNKLEY

John Dunkley, (80/90 can’t read it), formerly of 3379 E. 33rd St. died Sunday at a local Hospital.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at Egelhof Funeral Home. Services will be 10:30a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The rev. Lawrence Johnson on Immanuel Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
Mr. Dunkley was born in Dubuque, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Dunkley and lived here all his life. He formerly worked at the Dubuque Battery factory.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Marie Dunkley; seven daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marie) Weise, Mrs. Alvin (Madeline) Kircher, Mrs. Clarence (Evelyn) Van Vors, Mrs. Wesley (Jeant) Frost, Mrs. Charleen Davis, and Mrs. Walter (Shirley) Harrington, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Donald (Marion) Kleusner, of Rockford, Ill.; two sons, John Jr. of New York City, and Donald in the Navy; a stepson Dale Hall, of Dubuque; 36 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
