MRS. IDA DUNKLEY
Mrs. Ida Dunkley, 80, a former resident of Dubuque, died Wednesday evening following an illness of several months at the residence of her daughter, Miss Jessie Dunkley, 1707 West Ninth Street, Des Moines.
The body will arrive in Dubuque Friday noon and will be taken to the Egelhof Home for Funerals. The time of the funeral will be announced later. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Dunkley was born in Chicago June 22,1859, and came to Dubuque with her parents when she was 16 years old. She lived here until 1928, when she went to Des Moines to make her home with her daughter.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Birdie) Czizek and Miss Jessie Dunkley, both of Des Moines; and Mrs. Edward (Hannah) Mulgrew and Mrs. Frank (Ida) Fincel, both of Dubuque; one son., John Dunkley, Dubuque; one brother, and 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death with her husband were four sons, James, Clifford, Roy, and Charles.
