CONNER- At his home five miles southwest of Epworth, Iowa, Sunday, August 2, 1891 of paralysis, Mr. Timothy Conner, Sr. Aged 71 years.

The deceased is one of the pioneer settlers of Taylor township and was an influential farmer, that will be missed by his brethen. His timley advice was always received by his neighbors in a spirit that acknowledge him to be their superior.
He was sick but a short time and that his death was so near, was not realized by his family.

He leaves a wife and a number of children, mostly grown to mourn his death.

The funeral was held at St. Joseph's church and was largely attended. His sons and daughters were all present at the burial. John and Florence and Mrs. Burke of Rockwell, Iowa; Dennis of Rockford, Iowa; Mrs. Barney Clouse of Farley and Timothy of Epworth, and their families.
