Charles V. Corell, 83, of 449 Locust, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the family home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church, with the Rev. Justin J.
Herzog officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Mortuary, where the parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.

Mr. Carroll was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Patrick's church. He was born at Monticello, Ia., son of Frank and Helen Ganon Correll and lived in Dubuque most of his life.
For many years he was engaged in the fur business.

Surviving are his wife,the former Mabel Rawson, whom he married in 1909; two daughters, Mrs. Leo (Martha) Kurt, Los Angeles, Calif.,
and Mrs. Leo (Lois) Barrett, Dubuque; five sons. David, Davenport, Ia.; Harry, Ingelwood, Calif.; Charles T., Dubuque, John, Madison, Wis., and Edward A., East Dubuque, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
