A Christmas Day Nuptial

The home of Senator and Mrs. I. W. Baldwin on Christmas Day was the scene of a simple but happy wedding at high noon. The contracting parties to the pretty ceremony were Miss Elinor Cooper and Mr. William Reese. The nuptial services were performed by the Rev. Beall, pastor of the M. E. Church, in the presence of a few friends and relatives. After congratulations were concluded a bountiful feast was announced, and to which Christmas day appetites did ample justice.

The bride has lived in the family of Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin since childhood. She has all the qualities that make good and noble womanhood, and the man who has won her heart and hand has gained a prize worthy of all endeavors.

Mr. Reese is a son of Mrs. Elizabeth Reese, and is a prosperous young farmer of Cascade Township. Who is highly esteemed for his upright character and manly attributes.

These young people are happily mated for both are deserving of each other’s excellent virtues, and may their life be as joyous and unclouded as on that natal day of the Christ when they plighted their troth in His name.
