While John S. Beatty and wife and babe, were driving home J. L. Fober’s Wednesday, Dec. 26th, the horses took fright and Mrs. Beatty, who was driving was unable to manage them, the team ran away. The wagon ran off the side of the culvert overturning the vehicle and its occupants, Mr. Beatty was standing up behind in the wagon holding the child, but could not assist his wife in time to avert the accident. Fortunately none of them were seriously hurt.
