DISTRICT COURT

In the case of the State against Jerry Driscoll, motion for a new trial, argued and submitted. The defendant relying upon various errors assigned, among which were the admission of certain declarations of the defendant made both before and after she affray, and errors in the instructions of the court. Also misconduct of the jury during the trial in drinking various barrels of ale, wine and beer and other barrels of intoxicating liquors during the recess of the court while the case was on trial. Adjourned till 9 o’clock a.m. Monday.
