Attorney Jess Scores a Creditable
Victory

The calf case was given to the jury in district court yesterday afternoon and a verdict for defendant was returned. This is a creditable victory for that rising young attorney Francis Jess who appealed the case from Judge Cooney’s court and gained a victory despite the fact he was opposed by such able counsel as Judge Lenehan and Watkins J. Cantillion.
