Pamelita Yount Hogan was born August 27, 1828 in Union county, Il. She came to Dubuque County in 1837. Pamelita Yount married Willis Hogan on Dec. 6, 1849. She became a member of the Presbyterian Church. Willis and Pamelita had five sons and one daughter, David, Jesse H., Jefferson D., Richard and Maryetta Francisco.
