Phillip O’Riley lives on the other side of the river. Monday Phillip got very drunk, and when brought up for trial pleaded in mitigation that he thought it was the Fourth and could not be held responsible for his acts. This plea did not avail Phillip and he was compelled to shell out five dollars and costs.
