Alf. Quakenbush, M. S. Robison's, valued assistant, is home after a trip of several weeks among the sturdy yeomanry of the western counties, selling reapers and mowers, meeting with his usual good success. Oregon stands no comparison with Iowa, in his estimation, and Alf. Is right. Iowa is the garden of the west, and a good state in which to sell reapers and mowers, particularly the kinds M. S. Robison is agent for. The farmers know how it is themselves.
