The Democratic Herald – Sept. 1, 1865

Wire Manufactory – Jessop & Marshall, two experienced mechanics, have started a wire cloth manufactory in the old Turner’s Hall, where a long needed want can be supplied without going to other cities. They make brass or wire, clocks plain and fancy, ornamental arches, trainers for flowers, fence wire, sieves, and in short all kinds of wire work used by manufactures. They should receive what encouragement the public have in their power to bestow in their efforts in starting a new business in this city.
