ACCIDENT-We regret to learn of an accident that befel Mr. McEvoy, a miner residing in West Dubuque. He got his hand terribly mangled in some machinery at Karrick’s digging yesterday, and had to have it amputated by Dr. McKee’s. Only a few weeks ago he buried his wife and with this misfortune his afflictions are all he can bear.
