DISTILLERY REMOVAL- There is some disaffection among the residents of the Fifth Ward, about the removal of the distillery from the outskirts of the city to Lake Peosta, above the town the citizens complain that the offal from it finds its way as a matter of course, into the lake, destroying the water for use, and will make the ice, gathered there, impure. It is also claimed that the water taken from the slough will be impregnated with its continual dripping.
