Pat Kennedy owns a game cock which beats the neighborhood and the world. Pat said the game cock cleaned out the Ryder’s, Jim McDonald's and two other roosters, leaving them dead on the field. To brace up the victorious and plucky fowl, he fed him a handful of barley, which, Pat says, is medicine and meat to an exhausted bird, the hero in many battles in a rough and tumble way.
