Dubuque Herald –Jan. 6, 1876
JUSTICE COURT

Maggie Farrell and Mrs. Wolf, two hucksters at the Central market, got into a little friendly scrimmage, one belting the other in an unladylike manner, were brought before his honor, and after hearing the case concluded it was one of assault and battery, and fined the guilty party one dollar and costs.
In the revenge for the prosecution of Mrs. F., her husband caused the arrest of Mrs. Wolf, which was proven, and the Wolf was submitted to the same financial inconvenience.
